Today the NHS has launched a new COVID-19 app as part of its Test and Trace service.
Alongside traditional contact tracing, the app is able to notify users if they come into contact with someone who later tests positive for coronavirus.
The app can be downloaded from www.covid19.nhs.uk and allows people to report symptoms, order a coronavirus test, and check in to venues by scanning a QR code.
