Emptying of Dog Bins in Whitehouse – COVID-19

Please note that the company dealing with cleaning Dog Bins in Whitehouse has been listed as “Essential Workers” and therefore they will continue to work, despite the current COVID-19 regulations requiring everyone to stay at home.

To ensure the safety of their workers, and minimise contact with the local community, the Dog Bins will be emptied at 5am on Thursday mornings.   Please note that the cleaning team will either be using a Ford Transit or Peugeot Boxer, so please do not be concerned or suspicious if you see these vehicles driving through Whitehouse early on Thursday mornings.

Good news regarding the Community Council part of Council Tax for 2020/21

Due to the growth in households within Whitehouse, and therefore a bigger basis of calculation for local Parish / Community Tax, the Whitehouse Parish / Community Council has submitted an instruction to Milton Keynes Council to not increase the Community Council portion of Council Tax for the 2020/21 tax year.   The amount you paid as portion of the Council Tax in 2019/20, that is indicated as the “Whitehouse” part, will therefore remain unchanged for the next tax year.
